The Circle of Rounds returns! Join Jillian Waldman in the Chapel for an afternoon of beautiful participatory singing. Singing rounds is one of the best ways to generate breathtaking harmonies without having to spend a lot of time teaching or memorizing parts. We will learn and sing songs from a variety of sources, including both spiritually sublime tunes, and tunes that are musically sublime with lighter lyrics. No prior experience or particular skill is required; words and music will be provided. Feel free to bring a friend, a song you’d like to teach, or just your voice and your curious spirit. The singing will continue until 4 p.m.
Fourth U is hosting the critically acclaimed “Divine Drag and Outrageous Talent Cabaret” once more, on Saturday January 23 from 7:00 p.m to midnight. Performers from the Fourth U community and beyond will wow us with a night of family-friendly music, dance and more. There will be time to party and dance in the candle lit sanctuary and to enjoy the show!
A bar and snacks will be available. Suggested donation $10-25. All proceeds will benefit GLBTQ advocacy groups.

Fourth U’s music and meditation services continue. Join the Rev. Beth Putnam, Fourth U Affiliate Community Minister for brief services of reflection built around music, poetry and silence offered one Wednesday a month at 7:00 p.m. at Fourth U. Each month will focus on a different spiritual theme; here is the upcoming topic:January 20 — Remembering the Dream: Using the words of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the music that was so a part of the movement for justice for which he provided the vision, we will remember his dream and spark our own.
