Sunday Service – “Generous Hearts”
Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt
April’s topic is Exodus.
In the season of Passover, come explore being on the journey at Refresh & Revive with Rev. Beth Putnam. Reflections in poetry and music will explore wandering and being in transition.
If you are interested in being a delegate to the 2011 UUA General Assembly in Charlotte, NC (June 22-26), please contact our Denominational Affairs chair, Ryan Novosielski, at ryan@novosielski.com. A congregation of our size is entitled to send 3 delegates and 2 alternates to GA. Delegates this year will be expected to attend plenary [UUA business] sessions and votes as well as workshops that would be beneficial to Fourth U. Delegates will also be expected to attend a planning meeting prior to GA and a follow-up meeting to report back to the congregation. Preference will be given to first-time attendees. You must be a voting member to qualify. Registration is paid by Fourth U and financial assistance for travel and lodging will be available. See http://www.uua.org/ga for more information.
In an effort to be increasingly green, Fourth U would like to move to a more paper-free environment. We will begin our efforts with The Landmark. The Landmark, Fourth U’s monthly newsletter, is sent via email and mail. Note that we will continue to print copies, which can be found on the Membership Table in the entryway. If you would like to continue to receive The Landmark by mail, please email Jennifer Zeisler, our new Membership Coordinator, at membership@4thu.org, or simply inform her of your preference when you see her on Sunday.
