Sunday evenings just got a little cooler at the Fourth Universalist Society. Join us every Sunday night at 5PM for experimental and innovative services.
April 17: Jazz Vespers
April 24: Led by Metro NY UU Seminarians
See you at sundown!
April’s topic is Exodus.
In the season of Passover, come explore being on the journey at Refresh & Revive with Rev. Beth Putnam. Reflections in poetry and music will explore wandering and being in transition.
Fourth U’s music and meditation services continue! Join Rev. Beth Putnam, Fourth U Affiliate Community Minister, for brief services of reflection built around music, poetry and silence, offered one Wednesday a month (the next on March 16) at 7PM at Fourth U. Each month will focus on a different spiritual tradition.
The upcoming topic:
Come celebrate the arrival of spring and the vernal equinox. We’ll use chanting, poetry and music to celebrate the season of planting and preparing for fresh growth.
Soulful Sundown worship services are held every Sunday evening at 5PM in the sanctuary. The format of the service changes from week to week, so there’s never a dull moment. We often focus on using the arts — music, poetry, theatrical readings — as ways to connect to the sacred. Tell your friends and loved ones about Soulful Sundown @ Fourth U. It’s a great way to be in spiritual community in a more relaxed setting. We hope to see you at 5PM on Sunday evening in 2011!
